The Ehang 184

There has been loads of amazing inventions shown at this year's consumer electronics show (CES), but the main thing that caught my eye was the Ehang 184. The Ehang 184 is a quadcopter that is big enough to carry a passenger and does not require controls or a pilot.

The Ehang 184 was created by a Chinese company. The drone can reach speeds of 63mph and fly up to 11,500 feet, it is also able to carry 100kg and has a flight time of up to 23 minutes

My favourite part is how you actually tell the drone what to do it is all done by a tablet. You set your way point on the tablet, push take off then push land it's amazing. The passenger can also control the temperature and the lighting inside the drone using a touchscreen interface.

The Ehang 184 is only built for short distances but it is great, I'm not sure if we will ever see many of them about but it is still a great invention.

Check out this video below to see the drone.
