Microsoft now embracing Samsung

Upto now Samsung has been kept at arm’s length but now Microsoft has announced that it will bring Xbox Wireless tech to PC’s and other gaming accessories. Great news for Samsung as this includes the Xbox Wireless controller support for Samsung Gear VR.

Minecraft is the first game that you will be able to use the Xbox Wireless Controller with although you will eventually be able to use it with any Gear VR title. Obviously Microsoft bought Minecraft in 2014 for a whopping $2.5 billion, so there’s the link.

The update for the game which will bring the compatibility to all Gear VR headset owners is October, in addition you will need the latest update for the controller as well. You will then only have to download the virtual reality game’s update whenever it arrives next month and then connect your controller via the Bluetooth and you’re good to go.
