The World's End

Following on from the success enjoyed by both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, The Worlds End sees the trio of director Edgar Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost team up again for a film that lives up to its predecessors.

The Worlds End sees Simon Pegg stars as 40-something Gary King, who drags four old school friends including Nick Frost on a nostalgic pub crawl in the small English town of Newton Haven where they grew up. The remainder of the ‘five musketeers’ who play brilliant supporting roles include Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan.

As the film is sci-fi genre, The Worlds End includes a succession of breathless bar-room brawls, which builds on the tension of an emerging conspiracy in the film. Alongside other sci-fi references for fans of the genre, like both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, The Worlds End ensures there are plenty of laughs for viewers.

As the final part of the trilogy, critics have said that Wright has saved the best for last!
