Kyle is a marine serving in Afghanistan, accompanied by one of the bravest military dogs around: Max. Kyle and Max have an incredibly strong bond, so when Kyle is killed in service, his beloved dog is completely distraught.
Kyle's grieving family take Max into their home, hoping that he will help them come to terms with their loss. Younger brother Justin is finding adjusting to his brother's death really hard, and struggles to accept Max like his parents have. However, when it becomes clear that Max is suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Justin learns to be more caring.
With their lives totally changed, can Justin and Max overcome their grief together?
This touching and poignant story comes courtesy of the producers of Marley & Me (2008), and tells a heart-warming tale of love and courage. Starring Robbie Amell (The DUFF) as Kyle, Max is a moving film that will melt the hearts of dog-lovers everywhere.
