Review

This movie is an adaptation from the novel 'Child 44' directed by Daniel Espinosa. The cast is impressive with the first role Tom Hardy (seen in The Dark Night Rises and Locke) as Leo Demidov, Gary Oldman (also seen in The Dark Night Rises) as General Mikhail Nesterov (also seen in The Dark Night Rises), Vincent Cassel as Major Kuzmin and Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones). Daniel Espinosa denounce the Stalinism and the totalitarianism in this movie with an atmosphere of suspicion and of denunciation which was continual at this time. The decor and the atmosphere are really realistic and it allows to not forget this period of history.
